MAM101 – Veda 1 – Introduction to Vedas

Objective: To provide an introduction and background of the Indic knowledge landscape with details of categorization and classification of Vedas, their relevance in paving the Indic way of life

Expected outcomes:

• Understand the landscape of Vedic and allied literature
• Understand the Vedic worldview through its philosophy of life as a continuum of evolution of the beings of the world
• Understand the seemingly conflicting ideas in the Vedic culture as a measure of mutually supportive harmonious sustenance of diversity in the universe and among its beings

Prerequisite: Passed the Sanskrit Proficiency Test
