PhD in Psychology - Research Students
With an M A in Clinical Psychology, she ventures into research that provides support to young parents. The topic of her research is ‘DIAGNOSTIC MODEL BASED ON PANCHAKOSHA AND TRIGUNA TO UNDERSTAND INTERPLAY BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN’.
She seeks to create a diagnostic model based on Panchakosha and trigunas of Parents and understand its relation to behavioral issues observed in preschoolers.
She is motivated to work on this topic as she works with children and parents, and often comes across behavioral issues where causes are hidden in Panchakosha and Trigunas of parents. So she is keen to understand the relationship between them.
With M As in Industrial Psychology and Clinical Psychology, he joined the faculty of Psychology at MIT SVS. A highly motivated teacher, his regular exchanges with Vedic Sciences have progressed him to climb the next step on the academic ladder with his engagement in the research program.
His research topic is ‘AN INDIC MODEL OF PSYCHOLOGICAL INTERVENTION FOR MENTAL HEALTH BASED ON TRANSFORMATION OF BHAAVA AND GUNA BASED ON INDIAN AESTHETICS’.
The objective of his research is to validate the theory of Bhaava-Rasa from psychological viewpoint, using bhaava as a stimulus for triguna and impact on psychological ailments. He envisages to use Aesthtics, as presented in Indian Shaastras, as a medicine or intervention for psychological issues.
He is motivated to work in this area based on his personal experience of using art as a healing mechanism.
