Objective

To provide an introduction and background of the Vyākaraṇa and allied Vedāṅgas, pre-Pāṇinian and Pāṇinian tradition of Vyākaraṇa.

Structure

This course will contain 30 sections and each section contains 1.5 hours video and notes.

This course contains 5 Units.

1. Introduction to Vyākaraṇa: (3 Hours)
2. Pāṇini, his predecessors and successors (4 Hours)
3. Structure of Aṣṭādhyāyī (10 Hours)
4. Siddhānta-kaumudī model (3 Hours)
5. Aṣṭādhyāyī – sañjñā and paribhāṣā sūtra text (along with Kāśikā) (25 hours)
